Why ApoB and Lp(a)?
Standard cholesterol tests measure the cholesterol carried in your blood. ApoB counts the particles that can enter artery walls, and Lp(a) is a largely inherited particle. Together they give a sharper view of heart risk.
Why check hormones like SHBG, FSH and LH?
Hormones shape energy, mood, muscle and metabolism. SHBG also links closely to insulin sensitivity. Your doctor reads them together to explain what your testosterone result means for you.
Do I need to fast?
Yes. Please fast for 8 to 12 hours before each Bio Audit; water is fine.
What if a result is out of range?
It is listed for physician review and your doctor goes through it with you. If a follow-up test is advised, you get it at 50% off.
